So now that we're halfway through season 4 (Well, technically not since they're only filming 5 more instead of 8), what are you thoughts on this season so far? =D

Big lost fan here... however, I've always sat through a season saying "I hate watching this on TV, I should just wait for DVD."

Well, for some reason, I'm not saying that this season. Maybe they're moving things along fast enough this time that I don't feel like I'm going to have to wait until next week for me to just say "now I have to wait till NEXT week."

Either way, I'm enjoying the season. I'll have to re-watching it on DVD though to really know if I like it though.

Yeah, I'm also a huge fan of the show myself, haven't missed a single episode since it premiered.

It's seemingly moving faster because of the shorter episode count. With only 16 episodes the planned season-long story arc is going to reach its climax sooner, compared to it being 24 episodes.

At the same time, with practically 3 seasons of pure character development, it's pretty easy to just delve into the story now. There's no worry that the audience doesn't know these people yet, everything has been said, so now it's a matter of telling the audience where these characters are going from here on out. Which has been interesting, although I must admit I'm not much of a fan of the Sun/Jin and Kate storyline.

It does bite having to wait 5 weeks just to see 5 more episodes, but I have a feeling this second half is going to be quite the payoff.

And by the way, if you ever want to throw around theories, I'd be more than glad to shed some of my own. ;)

12 more days until new lost episodes. Speaking of, I heard a rumor that a sixth episode is being talked about between the producers and the network, but it's still up in the air. Would be awesome if they green lit it.

Holy crap, what an episode on Thursday, eh?

Ben is more of a badass than I originally thought. The way he took out both of those guys at the beginning was awesome! I suppose the real question that's come up now is how Widmore is connected to the island. Can't wait till next week! :D

Just caught up on the 4th season.. I'd not seen anything since end of S3. They do seem to be making good on the writers' promise - "a solid ending in season 6, and no more stalling." Much less frustrating than the "Jack doesn't let anyone make Juliet answer questions because he's a nice guy" BS of S3. Still, they're intentionally distracting the viewer from the fact that the characters (and by association the audience) should be able to answer some questions and aren't.
Regardless, I'm enjoying it so far. The flash-forwards are fun (as opposed to the flashbacks of past seasons) because you're always thinking and setting up a timeline in your head.

I thought the fourth season was a little bit 'meh'... ish until the latest couple of episodes where they really started kicking up shit.

I can expect this season to end by the 'Oceanic 6' getting off the island. Then our season 5 will begin with them somehow getting back to the island, following this we'll go back to flashbacks of what happened on the isnalnd when they were gone.

S'just my two lil cents :)

Let me just say how surprised and happy i was that they killed off Ben's daughter. Don't get me wrong, I liked her well enough, but to have a show FINALLY follow through on what was (9 times out 10) a situation that would be magically resolved at the last minute, was refreshing. They now made these people a REAL threat.

Again, very refreshing. Plus, Ben kicks ass.

Oh man, no kidding. I really hate seeing villains who are all talk and no action. You never feel threatened unless there's a reason to be, and Lost certainly delivered on that.

There's just so much going on this season. I have so many theories flying around its fun. This series has always been on you can just discuss with your friends and each person has one new insight or another. I love it.

And I'm calling it now. As silly and crazy as it sounds, Widmore is either This McCutchen guy who made the whiskey, or the original captain of the black rock and the island gave him long life or something. Or something like that.

Like I said, sounds silly, cliche, etc, but I'm calling it.

I'm going on a limb and saying that Jack's father, Christian, has been in cahoots with the island for some time, probably well before jack or claire were born. Just a guess though.

I can see that probably being true about Widmore though.

One last thing before tonight's ep airs.

I'm calling that Them moving the island means through time. AND that the "future" visions of the Oceanic 6, actually DO happen, and the island re-appears at some point in that future. So while a few years may have passed in our time, the island reappears on seconds after moving.

Ok based on the last 20 seconds, I'm guessing I'm completely off.

Doh!
