I've noticed an increase in issues with registering and submitting comics. I wanted to let anyone who is getting these errors know that I'm working on fixing them still. It is just difficult because I can't seem to duplicate them on my end at all.

Expect a major programming and design change in the coming weeks and I try to debug and streamline the whole site. I've kind of let the site slide a bit while I worked on another project or two, but I have some big plans to finally make WebcomicZ stand out among the other webcomic listing sites out there. I'll keep you all appraised.

Until the issues are resolved, however, feel free to contact me with your registration information and I'll upload it for you.

I apologize for any inconvenience.

I have repeatedly tried to add the comic "The Ongoing Adventures of Rocket Llama" (http://www.rocketllama.com) but I always get this message with no explanation: "Unable to Add Submission."

I emailed WebcomicZ about it but never got a reply and still don't see the comic listed. I wanted to buy an like the one I run on other sites, but two months of inability to add a comic make it difficult to have confidence.

Ok. can't believe I haven't asked this yet (or if I did, I forget the result), but for those of you who are having errors, what Internet Browser are you using when trying to submit your comics?

Thanks.

I used both Internet Explorer and Firefox and the "unable to submit" errors happened with both, I had been attempting since July and was only able to slip through a few weeks ago.

Just from the errors I was getting I really think it centers somehow around your kapta (whatever you call that code verification system).

Hmm. Both IE and FireFox, eh? There goes that idea, I think.

The captcha code actually returns an error saying 'invalid code.' From the responses I'm getting in emails, its my "What the hell?!" catch all error that the program returns when I actually input the info into the database.

The reason I ask about Browser is because I was curious that maybe IE was formatting the information differently in the form and making PHP and/or SQL read it wrong and not input it.

Which still may be the case, except that browser may not be to blame. My next step is to be more specific about validating the actual information when the form is submitted before trying to put it into the DB.

You know... for those who care... :p

The first couple of times it happened to me I thought maybe I'd input one of the variables (like username, password, etc) in an unacceptable format, like using a "space" and "space" wasn't allowed, but it gave the same error when I tried to do the contact us option and all that asked for was an email address and there's really only one was to type that entry.

As mentioned in another thread, I made a change to the submission process. It may or may not resolve the issue. If you continue to have problems, let me know.
