Webcomic inspirations. Do you have any? Any comics that made you want to (or actually do) start your own comic? I had a few, too many to list really. To start I'll say Questionable content, the lounge, misfile, venus envy, no need for bushido, twokinds, ctrl alt delete, dominic deegan (spelling may be wrong on that one) Kitsune jewel, DMFA, sinfest, and several SEVERAL others. How bout Ya'll? |

I didn't even read or know about webcomics until I started my own one. It's like discovering this massive world no one told me about. |

I would say for me, the biggest inspiration was Dinosaur Comics, because it showed me that you don't have to be the greatest artist in the world if you have funny and good stories to tell. I'm hoping eventually our art will get better, but for now I just like focusing on the writing of our comic. |

The very first webcomic I read was Sluggy Freelance, along with 8-Bit Theater ... though I don't read either anymore. One of the ones I've stuck with for a long time and look to as something of an inspiration is Girly, and recently Gunnerkrig Court. |

I've been most influenced by newspaper comics like 'Calvin and Hobbes' and 'Zits' but since I've started reading and doing '20 Something', the webcomic that has inspired me the most is 'Sheldon'. |
