The Apple of Discord

The Goddess Eris, scorned that she hadn't been invited to a wedding, offers as a gift a golden apple inscribed with the word "kallisti" (roughly "to the fairest"). A huge battle between gods and men arises over who the apple was intended for, eventually leading to the Trojan War.

From this incident, the term "The Apple of Discord" arises, meaning a singlular event, a twist, a change, a contested object, which drives forward strife, chaos, and disorder.

After a long slumber, The Apple again reappears, this time as a humor-based joke-a-day webcomic updating Mondays and Fridays. Do you dare take a bite?
